Quick Tour
Update your web page from anywhere just by sending an Email. It's free and
easy to get started.
What it does
If you make regular updates to your web site or wish you could delegate the
chore to someone else, send2page is for you. It's the free service that lets you
update different sections of your web site by simply sending Email.
How it works
When you sign up for your free account, you get an unlimited number of special
Email addresses for sending web site updates. Use one Email for "news",
another for "contact information", and others to update schedules of upcoming
events. Along with each Email address, you get a corresponding "code snippet" (a
piece of HTML) that you Copy & Paste onto your web page where you want the Email
to appear. Whenever the web page is displayed, the "code snippet" pulls in
your Email. It's that simple!
How to use it
You'll have to edit your web page (one last time) to paste the "code snippet" at
the position where you want your updates to appear. Then, use your favorite
Email editor to format the content that you want to appear on your web page.
Send the update to the special Email address and then refresh your web page to
see the results. If you want to make adjustments to the content, update and
re-send the original Email which should be found in your Email program's "Sent
Items" folder.
Tips:
If you want to let someone else update your web page, just add their Email
address to the list of allowed senders. Let one person update "news" and another
person update your "event schedule".
You can choose to show just the last received Email or the last 5-Emails. Along with the option to show the Subject and date, you can implement
an easily updateable "press release" section.
When you send the update to the special Email address, it can be done as a
carbon copy (CC) or as part of a group Emailing. Whenever you send a company
notice, you can also update the company intranet
