document.write('<div>Pollux was born out of the solo work of singer/songwriter Carey Head.&nbsp;The much vaunted frontman of alt-rock luminaries "Four Minute Mile" it seemed, had a side that manifested itself when he wasn’t bullriding his halfstack over some of the hardest rock in the city.&nbsp;More compelling still, were the influences that reflected in the songs he wrote- Chet Baker, Jeremy Enigk, Ours: A musical triumverate with a common theme of impeccable songcraft bookended by meloncholy and catharsis.&nbsp;Kevin Weber, also of 4MM, and Daniel Stevenson of Mobile Estate commited to learn parts for what seemed like a sideproject/solo record.&nbsp;The results were not to be predicted: Kevin, a studio and touring gun-for-hire with a deep understanding of Carey’s work ethic being paired with drummer/songwriter Daniel who is arguably&nbsp;still&nbsp;trying to play drums... but with a bass in his hands.
